Azure Data EngineerOptiv is seeking an Azure Data Engineer to join the organization as a core team member of the Global Data and Digital Technologies team focusing on engineering and implementing our new Optiv Data Platform. This person will focus on development and implementation of the architected Optiv Data Platform in Azure Synapse, as well as configuration, and support of the platform.The Azure Data Engineer will participate in the architecture of the new Optiv Data Platform being implemented in Microsoft's Azure Synapse environment, and be an integral member of the engineering, development, and implementation of the new platform.The Azure Data Engineer will aid in the gathering and documentation of requirements, and development the requirements, in an Agile development environment for the Optiv Data Platform.Required Skills/Experience:Experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud platform data technology, especially data lakes, data warehouse, data bricks, data factory, and especially Microsoft Azure SQL.Experience with, or proven knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery methodologies in AzureExperience with, or proven knowledge of implementing data distribution and partitions for Azure Synapse Analytics and well as PolyBaseExperience with, or proven knowledge of various skills such as:Data maskingEncrypting data at rest and in motionManage and Develop Data ProcessingDeveloping batch processing solutions by using Data Factory and Azure DatabricksIngesting data with PolyBaseImplementing the integration runtime for Data FactoryCreating linked services and datasetsCreating pipelines and activitiesCreating and schedule triggersImplementing Azure Databricks clusters, notebooks, jobs, and autoscalingIngesting data into Azure DatabricksExperience with, or proven knowledge of analytics and/or machine learning a plus.Azure certifications will make candidates stand out.To apply, mail resumes to 20130 Lakeview, Center Plaza Suite 400
